Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are you guys open? A: Yes we are currently open Monday through Saturday.

Q: Are you guys having music this weekend? A: Yes, we have a live show every Friday and Saturday.

Q: Who’s Playing this weekend? A: Our acts are posted at least a week in advance on our Facebook events page and our website.

Q: Can I make a reservation for the show? A: Johnny’s does not have the floorspace to fairly accommodate reservations on weekends. We seat our guests on a first come first serve basis - come early to ensure best seats.

Q: Is there a cover charge? A: While you may pay $20-$30 per person to get into a downtown Chicago music club. As of January 2023, we are implementing a modest $10 dollar cover charge per person for our Friday/Saturday performances.

Johnny’s Blitz is all about live music. Our weekends are devoted to the blues, but we are always on the lookout for new and interesting acts.
